From Romans 10:9-10 to Revelation chapter 21 and 22 is a very long journey.
This topic was put into my mind, And as I think back about myself how ignorant I was about life and eternity, I want to warn others, and at the same time give you some insights about truth, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, and the place they have in our lives.
I want to say it like this we need understanding, knowledge, wisdom, logic, truth, in a practical way to live in this physical world. That is why we have schools, collages, trade schools, universities, MIT, Labs, testing sites, and every thing that ca n make us live a better life here on Earth.
But God made a distinction between the world wisdom and the wisdom we need for eternal life, the wisdom we need for eternal life in hidden in Jesus Christ this wisdom and knowledge have to come from God, even though God put some in the Bible.
we have 2 Intellect always remember this the physical intellect is developed by our natural environment. but our spiritual intellect have to be developed by God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, these 3 are one but doing 3 different functions in our life.
God Himself in the form of the Spirit cannot come down into this Universe 2 Chronicles 6:18 He can destroy the universe by His fullness so He comes down into this universe in small form that still have the same creation power in our lives. In the scriptures God is telling people that the world wisdom is foolish to Him.
18-For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but it is God’s power to us who are being saved.
19-For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will set aside the understanding of the experts.
20-Where is the philosopher? Where is the scholar? Where is the debater of this age? Hasn’t God made the world’s wisdom foolish?
21-For since, in God’s wisdom, the world did not know God through wisdom, God was pleased to save those who believe through the foolishness of the message preached.
22-For the Jews ask for signs and the Greeks seek wisdom,
23-but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Gentiles.
24-Yet to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is God’s power and God’s wisdom,
25-because God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God’s weakness is stronger than human strength. Boasting Only in the Lord
26-Brothers, consider your calling: Not many are wise from a human perspective, not many powerful, not many of noble birth.
27-Instead, God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong.
28-God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something,
29-so that no one can boast in His presence.
30-But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became God-given wisdom for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption,
31-in order that, as it is written: The one who boasts must boast in the Lord. Paul’s Proclamation
1-When I came to you, brothers, announcing the testimony of God to you, I did not come with brilliance of speech or wisdom.
2-For I didn’t think it was a good idea to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
3-I came to you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.
4-My speech and my proclamation were not with persuasive words of wisdom but with a powerful demonstration by the Spirit,
5-so that your faith might not be based on men’s wisdom but on God’s power. This Verse is revealing that Men’s wisdom is not good enough to give you signs and wonders. God’s power produces signs and wonders. Spiritual Wisdom
6-However, we do speak a wisdom among the mature, but not a wisdom of this age, or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
7-On the contrary, we speak God’s hidden wisdom in a mystery, a wisdom God predestined before the ages for our glory. 8-None of the rulers of this age knew this wisdom, for if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9-But as it is written: What eye did not see and ear did not hear, and what never entered the human mind —God prepared this for those who love Him.
10-Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
11-For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man that is in him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
12-Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God.
13-We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people. Note to understand God we have to become spiritual people and to become spiritual people we have to get regenerated by the Spirit of God His name is the Holy Spirit.
14-But the unbeliever does not welcome what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually.
15-The spiritual person, however, can evaluate everything, yet he himself cannot be evaluated by anyone.
16-Forwho has known the Lord’s mind, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ I hope you can see with clarity the difference between the wisdom of the world and the wisdom of God. within wisdom are knowledge, understanding, for the spiritual side of the intellect. have a blessed day in Jesus name Amen.
